To start with, data validity and reliability are considered to be two extremely important aspects for approving as well as validating the quantitative research study. According to Moskal and Leydens (2002), validity can be defines as the degree or extent to which the evidence and figures basically support the data interpretations in terms of their correctness as well as the manner in which interpretations being used are appropriate. Further, in simple words, Joppe (2000) explains the fact that validity is often best if is attainted results are both believable and truthful. He evens adds to it by stating that during determining the validity, scholars mostly have a set of questions as well as a lot seek for the answers as part of the research to discover if the measurements are correct or not.
Furthermore, Joppe (2000) even explains reliability as the extent to which the results are consistent in case there occurs repetition of the experiments under the similar methodological conditions. In this case, instrument is categorized as reliable.
