It used to be that technology was all about online or e-learning, which is asynchronous (you do it when you want). Today most technology-based learning seems to be virtual and synchronous (you all do it at the same time).  There are many types of live, virtual training opportunities.

I use Webex extensively in my work with clients It is live and interactive. I don’t do webinars, I do real interactive, engaging training. I have breakout rooms for teams, tests, interactive exercises in pairs as well as a large group. I do the same things as I would do in a traditional classroom, but more, because I can have learners interacting simultaneously.There is little that I cannot do virtually that we do face to face.

Unfortunately, the prevalence of mind-numbing webinars has given the technology a poor reputation. That’s not training.What are your experiences with Webex, GotoMeeting, AdobeConnect, Lync (aka Live Meeting, Skype for Business), ATT Connect, Zoho  or similar?
